KAYAK – MUTUM RIVER

Departure by car to the community of Tapera, located at the border of Mutum River. In this untouched place, we’ll travel by kayak through the Mutum River, between “aguapés” and the song of birds, with possibility to find several animals and reptilian, among them the anaconda.

HIKING / BOAT – MUTUM RIVER

By boat passing through the Mutum River’s Bridge, in this itinerary is possible to observe the exuberant pantaneira flora. Walking, with observation of birds and mammals in the return to Pousada Baguari.

SUNSET IN THE BAY, PIRANHA FISHING AND NIGHT TOUR OF ALLIGATORS - Boat

The end of the afternoon, departure by boat to the Bays of Siá Mariana and/or Chacororé for appreciation of the sunset, could make the piranha’s fishing, a typical fish of the area. In the return, it will be done spotlight of animals with night habits and can observe the diamonds eyes of the alligators.

MUTUM RIVER - boat 

Hiking for photo safari and observation of the nature in the margins of Mutum River. This River has a singular beauty, forming beautiful "mirrors of water" and where is also possible to see capybaras and others species of the Pantanal.

VISIT THE RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY - boat

Passing by boat through the “Leme’s Conduit”, which is the connection of  Siá Mariana's Bay with Cuiabá River; the main river of the Pantanal Mato-grossense, we’ll arrive at the riverside community, where will be possible to know their habits and traditions. In the return to Pousada Baguari, stop for piranha’s fishing, appreciation of the sunset and spotlight of alligators and animals of night habits, with arrival at the lodge for dinner time.

NESTING OF BIRDS - boat 

After the breakfast, departure for the nesting of birds. On the way, stop to know the village of fishermen and riverside community, getting in touch with the local culture. In the nesting we will observe the bedrooms of several species of birds; and we will go by boat through the rivers and corixos of the Pantanal, among them Cuiabá River. Walk in the nesting for appreciation of the species of birds and animals that live there. Depending on the period (if dries or flood) we can go until the observation’s tower in the middle of the nesting and contemplate that grandiose show.

CAPOERINHA COMMUNITY (Period of May to December) 

In rustic transport, we will travel by the road Capoeirinha/Joselândia until the community of Capoeirinha. We will make a walk in this bucolic place, where in flood time form a beautiful lake around the community, and in drought time it fills the place with an immense grassy field and Pantaneiros horses. Return to Pousada with spotlight of wild animals.

VISIT THE FARM AT THE PANTANAL

Photo-safari by car until Cambará’s Farm, typical property of Pantanal, located in a privileged place with options of walking, visiting to the corral and the orchard. Horseback riding between the vegetation, to recognize the habitat of different mammals and birds.

Included: transfer, activities mentioned in the itinerary and local guide. 

SAFARI BY CAR FOR OBSERVATION OF THE HYACINTH MACAWS (Period of July to October) After breakfast go out by car through the Capoeirinha/Joselândia Road. In the way we will make stops to appreciate the fauna and flora of the area, the lunch will be served in the field where we will pass all the afternoon watching the fauna, flora and the Bird’s nesting. Great possibilities to view the Hyacinth Macaws. Ex.: maned wolf, armadillos, anteaters, capybaras, monkeys, toco toucan, among other species.

HORSEBACK RIDING

In the surroundings of the Pousada Baguari, horseback riding between the fields and capons of the Pantanal.

DAILY OF THE BOAT FOR FISHING, motor 25hp without fuel: 

Included 8hs of boat, motor and “pirangueiro” (boat pilot). Fuel will be charge in agreement with the consumption.
